Deepening of Berth Draft
Pro Marine successfully carried out a project to deepen the Berth Draft from 12m to 13m to accommodate bigger ship. The project was assigned by the company who had leased the Berth from the Port Management. The project was completed in Year 2008 in record speed and gained the satisfaction of the client and the Marine Department of the Saudi Port Authority. Underwater videography and other inspections were carried out to determine the quality of our work

Dismantling of Ship Unloader
Two ship unloader gantry cranes were dismantled from the berth. As per the contract awarded by the client in 2017, the parts were to be dismantled with minimum cutting and to be retained for the reuse of the client's other gantry cranes. Big beams and steel structure were cut into transportable sizes to meet the road safety requirements. It was a very challenging project handled professionally with Zero hazardous incidents. All the dismantled parts were further transported from the Port to the Client’s Yard.
Transport & Installation of Gantry Cranes
Two completely assembled and tall Gantry Cranes were transported from Jubail Sea Port to Dammam Sea Port, on a barge and rolled out to the berth and fixed for use on bulk ships carrying Iron Ore Pellets. They will be used for Cargo Unload and the said cargo would be then put onto the Conveyor belt which will take the cargo to the consignee’s storage yard.
These cranes were transported and installed without any hazardous incidents and installed on to the rails on the berth using various heavy equipment and technically professional and experienced workforce. Appreciation was received from Port Authority as well as Facility Leaser for the high standard of work.
